Application |

|
|

|
Depends on the degree of deterioration of the building machinery. We can give you some councils in order to obtain a satisfactory result:
To determine:
- solidity, capillarity, rock salt, etc…
- an average consumption
- To check that there is no change of color
- To check adherence
- To carry out the final tests of effectiveness.¶
Working conditions:
- to clean surfaces Well to be treated
- If the materials became too friable, to make a pretreatment in order to be able to clean
- the materials must be dry or avoid the rain during 2 or 3 days
- It is recommended to avoid the direct light of the sun, which could cause a too fast draining.¶
- the ideal temperature lies between 10 and 20 C. |

Methods of application |
|
|
|
|
|
|
All the methods are good taking account of surface to treat.
- Quantities : most significant is to prevent that a crust is not formed. To initially try to treat a brick at the same time. It is necessary, if necessary, to repeat the operation after 2 or 3 weeks because it is absolutely necessary to obtain a complete saturation. If, between the two layers, the active formation is not obtained, the second layer will become gray.
- the quantity necessary is 0.5 to 15 liters with m2.
(Example : for a brick become friable with a 6 cm depth, the 1st treatment will be 5 L/m2 and 3.5 L/m2 after 3 weeks).
- In other cases, 2.7 L/m2 were employed for walls having a friability of more than 10 cm.
After treatment
It can prove to be useful to clean surface with white spirit to avoid a discolouration.
